Art Düsseldorf Solo presentation and special projects
On view are two major installations: Tribe, a poignant exploration of family, ancestry and spiritual lineage—and Cosmic Relations, a large-scale work that expands Kalsmose’s investigation into identity and the systems that connect us.
Tribe is a sculptural arrangement evoking intergenerational presence and remembrance, and a new work from Mille’s Collected Memory-series, in which she continues to materialize the invisible threads between the self, memory, and inherited emotional frameworks.
At the centre of the presentation is Cosmic Relations — a large-scale installation that maps identity and connection through cosmic geometry. Humanoid forms orbit a central sound source playing NASA recordings from Saturn’s rings, drawing viewers into a meditative reflection on belonging, ancestry, and the systems that shape us.
Kalsmose's work quietly bridges the intimate and the infinite through sculptural form and conceptual depth.
